Don't be fooled by the silver lining

lyrics

so the lights grew dim
and they began to flicker
then the calm grew thin
and in my gut felt sicker

so the shadows plagued
and the house was haunted
stepping out to find the sun
it was warmth i wanted

so i went outside
and watched the sun melt
into the horizon
and there was blackness i felt

til i saw on the hill
a silver fox sway
in the darkness still
but he wanted to play

so i felt the floor
a cold shimmering marble
and i followed once more
but i fell through and gargled

i was walking on ice that was paper thin
fooled by the fox the silver i was drawn in
i was drowning (x3)
